Stress Management

Stress:  The physical and emotional responses we have to the stressors of life. 

My curiosity for the effects of stress on our bodies and health began more than ten years ago.  At that time, the impact of long-term stress was not fully appreciated by mainstream medicine.  I decided to take my interest in the physical effects of stress and develop my massage practice with stress management as its primary focus.   

As time went on I realized that stress has far reaching effects. Beyond our physical self, stress dulls our energetic and spiritual being, and creates havoc on our physical, emotional and spiritual health.  This can, and often does, lead to a state of disease.  Learning to manage our reactions to the stressors of our daily lives is a key component to a happier and healthier lifestyle.
